Riddle Answers

Postby pennee12345 » Wed Dec 12, 2007 5:00 am

Puzz,

I have purchased numerous password credits, but wanted to know if you can share the info or not. Are the passwords required to answer the puzzle suppose to be a single word or can it be more than a one word response.?

If the answer conatined extra words but contained the correct answer within, would that be a correct guess?

R U Able to answer that or is that also part of the challenge. It does make it alot harder if the response needs to be a single word response.

riddle Passwords

Postby PUZZ » Wed Dec 12, 2007 12:45 pm

I dont put any gaps, or hyphens or full stops etc in the passwords. So you are always looking for a single string of alphanumerics.

eg. trumpet, brainstorming, fullstop, or number1, I dont do brain storming, or brain_storming or brain.storming

hope this helps. But at the ned of the day when you have worked out the password, its usually very obvious what im looking for.

So... there I was in Vegas.....

Postby armor99 » Tue Dec 18, 2007 5:28 am

Hi everyone,
I am back from my Vegas trip... the ACTUAL location of the virtual pryamid #24 that I solved. :) As luck would have it, I actually found myself inside of a sharper image in vegas! I halfway expected for there to be a golden pryamid inside the store. :) But there of course was not.... virtual only. :) I did take the time to educate the staff there about Sonic Warp, the virtual pryamids, the gold coins etc. They were clueless but appreciated the extra information. It was fun...

These riddles are ridiculous

Postby NoHeat » Thu Dec 20, 2007 4:24 pm

So I am currently working on 3 riddles one for TSI and 2 of the VPs that I think I may be able to solve based on the clues and I am so stuck its ridiculous. I have tried anagrams, google, wikipedia but I am not going to give up if it takes me to 2010. I just wish I could see some of the previous riddles and answers so maybe I can get a glimpse of how Puzz thinking goes. Well im done venting. :|

I made incredible progress with clue 27, spending hours in research, and though my answer turned out to be wrong, who knows, maybe I'll get another crack in 29 days.

Puzz, that one is a marvelous riddle. Good job. = D

Now that I have been bested by someone for the TSI Riddle its off to the virtual pyramids. 1 question if it has a v on the pyramid does that mean it still has gold or it held gold at one time.

Hello Noheat and others.... I just sent all of the information to Puzz for the winning of VP #24.... It has been verified, and I believe that the gold coin and check is already in transit to me at this time. Unfortunately airmail is very slow this time of year, and it might take a week or so for it to arrive. But I promise (as long as it is OK with PUZZ) that I will post pics of the gold coin that I got, and well as a detailed accounting of how my particular riddle was solved. :)

Sorry Thedoc24, but as the riddles are supposed to be solved by the individual, SW ask that you do not discuss them in great detail on this or any other forum. You can say if you think you are close or not, etc, but you shouldn't say "I think this part of the clue means this".

Once a riddle has been solved and the prize claimed, that riddle can then be discussed :)
