Isis V thoughts

What would you like to see out of the finale for the Isis series?

Personally, I would like the Isis V to be the most difficult of the series-combining both the mechanical/positional challenges of the Isis 1+2 with the brain teaser challenge of the Copernisis.

I'd like to see the Isis V in two stages: one outer box which requires the 4 keys to unlock, then the actual Isis V puzzle inside. The keys would align a series of numbers or code on the inside when turned to the 'unlocked' position which would be needed to either register the Isis V or be needed to solve it. This would also serve as an extra security step to help ensure only the worthy have access.

Perhaps a real-time online counter showing the number of people worldwide who have registered an Isis V and are working on the puzzle. The site could also show the number of people who have solved it. A running timer could add some excitement to the race as well. Even if you aren't the first to solve it, it could be quite exciting to see you are in the top 10 or 50.

I realize there are limits to how complex a puzzle can be but so far we have seen a sphere, pyramid, disc and rumors of a cube for the Isis 4. I would love it if the Isis V had a more exotic design worthy of the crowning jewel for the series. A crystal-shaped design would look very nice but may not be possible.

The name should also be chosen carefully-like 'The Omegisis' to represent the 'End' of the series.

What are your thoughts on what you would like to see?

Egg Shaped with the answer to the age old question "Which came first the chicken or the egg?" hidden inside

I would like a medal or some kind of minor prize to be found within the Isis V once solved

Would really love the idea of using the keys to open the box but don't think this would be possible with the different key designs unless you have to send your original ones back to Sonic Games for them to send you working keys for the Isis V box.

i agree with merlin. a super secret prize would be sweet. an armillary sphere shape would blow my mind. also in addition to the isis invisible maze, the ramisis moving maze, the copernisis math and figuring, and the tessarisis ?????, with an outer puzzle that needs the 4 preceding keys and possibly use japanese sliding puzzle box tactics, it could use the timer element talked about in other forum topics. once you unlock the outer box with the keys and the puzzle, it starts an internal timer that expires and locks the box entirely. only upon "resetting" the puzzle by completely reassembling it and solving it within the time limit will it open. too tough? (not for most of you rabid curiophiles)

Nice ideas Argod, but I can't see Sonic Games combining electronics into their Isis series puzzles after the problems they had with Ramisis G1.

Looking forward to seeing what new challenges the Tessarisis brings.

As for Isis V, I'd think it would be good if it had some sort of homage to the four previous puzzles - possibly with familiar features that we'll recognise, but will probably be red herrings!

Can't wait for Christmas and many hours of Cube based fun - hope my concentration on the Tessarisis doesn't upset the girlfriend, if nothing else it'll show that I appriciate the present she's getting me :D
